This week I’m sharing a conversation with Dr Barry Prizant and Dave Finch about their new podcast Uniquely Human, titled after Barry’s revolutionary book Uniquely Human: A Different Way of Seeing Autism. Uniquely Human: The Podcast continues the conversation the book started on autism and neurodiversity by amplifying the voices of autistic individuals and thought leaders, and provides insightful, cutting-edge and practical information about the autistic experience. Barry is one of the world’s leading and innovative authorities on autism who has found a naturally complimentary co-host in writer and creative consultant Dave Finch, who was himself diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum as an adult and is author of The Journal of Best Practices: A Memoir of Marriage, Asperger Syndrome, and One Man’s Quest to Be a Better Husband

In our conversation, Barry and Dave tell us more about how the Uniquely Human podcast came to be, what they have planned for it, and what they hope listeners will get out of it.

About Dave: David Finch is a humorist and author of the acclaimed New York Times best-selling memoir, The Journal of Best Practices.
