A 90-Minute Live Event, including Q&A, on Monday, April 3rd, 7pm ET
featuring Jessica Lahey (author, The Addiction Inoculation)

 ** RECORDING & RESOURCES ARE AVAILABLE **

SUBSTANCE USE PREVENTION

Substance use (alcohol and/or drugs) is a topic that can be uncomfortable to lean into, yet it is absolutely critical that we do so, as our children and teens will surely be exposed to (and perhaps peer pressured into engaging in) unhealthy substance use at some point in their lives.
Author, educator, journalist, and parent Jessica Lahey will show us how we can best protect our kids and feel confident in employing the most effective prevention measures. Jess will be talking with the Tilt community about:
  • What substance use does to a developing brain
  • Why differently wired kids have additional risk factors and how parents can accommodate for those
  • How and when to talk with kids and teens about substance use
  • What substance use disorder is and the most important factors that protect our children
  • What parents and caregivers should do if they suspect their child is engaging with drugs and/or alcohol
Jessica Lahey brings humor, honesty, and lived experience to this conversation, and she is passionate about reaching as many people as possible with this truly life-saving information. Please join us.
