TiLT Together: Differently Wired Parent Groups

Are you ready to TiLT Together?

I know there is tremendous value in gathering with parents who truly “get” what we’re experiencing for the sharing of resources and support, mentorship, friendship, and more. That’s where TiLT Together groups come in.

In early 2019, these in-person gatherings, created and run by members of the TiLT community, started happening in cities across the US, Canada, and the UK. While each group is run independently, TiLT Together groups are united by a shared vision of inclusion, acceptance, and parenting our kids with optimism.

To support these groups, I’ve created a TiLT Together “Starter Kit” to provide group leaders with suggestions and strategies for running a group for parents of exceptional kids (download the Starter Kit below). In this kit, you’ll find:

•  A list of suggested topics for meetings

•  Suggested books for reading and discussion

If you are running a group for parents raising differently wired kids and you’d like to be an official “TiLT Together” group OR you’d like to start one, please follow the steps below:

1:  Fill out this simple form sharing details about your group or proposed group (it’s okay if you don’t have meeting dates and locations set up yet)

2:  Download the TiLT Together Starter Kit (below)

3:  Join the TiLT Together Leader Group on Facebook (this is the place to ask questions, get insight from other group leaders on best practices, and more)
