ABOUT THE COURSE

Learn the power of mindfulness grounded in the Asian Buddhist psychology fused with modern neuroscience. You will come away with ways to experience greater breath and heart awareness. In this meditation program, Dr. Tetreault will safely guide you through mindfulness practices to encourage the growth of inner resources that calm your nervous system. Learn the brain science of your neuro-uniqueness and mindfulness techniques to ground you in the present moment with greater compassion. By cultivating more compassion, we begin to realize the joys and gratitude of presently being and living as liberated beings.

ABOUT DR. NICOLE TETREAULT

Nicole Tetreault, Ph. D., is a neuroscientist, author, meditation teacher, and international speaker on topics of neurodiversity, neurodevelopment, creativity, mental health, and wellness. Dr. Tetreault received her PhD from Caltech specializing in neurodevelopment and neurodegenerative disorders. As the founder of Awesome Neuroscience, she translates the most promising neuroscience and positive psychology for people to live their best life. Dr. Tetreault has authored numerous academic papers on intelligence, autism, brain evolution, neuroinflammation, and behavior. Her newest book, Insight into a Bright Mind, explores groundbreaking research examining the experiences of unique, creative, and intense brains through interviews, storytelling, and literary science, while advocating for new directions of human and neurodiversity.

COST & ACCESSIBILITY

  • Classes will be held on 4 consecutive Wednesdays at 7pm ET / 4pm PT: May 4, May 11, May 18, May 25
  • Each session will be an hour long including a meditation, dharma talk, and community reflection and connection
  • Sessions will be recorded and accessible for viewing through July 31, 2022
  • The cost for this program is “dana based,” or a donation based on what you can afford. Suggested donation for the program is $80 or $20 per class (donations will go to supporting scholarships and maintaining the Tilt community)
